STATE LEVEL POLICE RECRUITMENT BOARD ANDHRA PRADESH, HYDERABAD

AP State Police Recruitment board is inviting applications from the eligible candidates for recruitment of the following
posts ::

Name of the Post ::

• DEPUTY JAILOR in Prisons and Correctional Services Department
• ASSISTANT MATRON in Prisons and Correctional Services Department

No. of Vacancies :: 79 Posts

• Deputy Jailor ::  75
• Assistant Matron :: 04

Eligibility Criteria ::

• For Deputy Jailor :: only men are eligible
• For Assistant Matron ::  only women are eligible

Educational Qualification :: Candidate must possess a Degree awarded by any University.

Physical Standards ::

i) For the post DEPUTY JAILOR

• a) Height:  Must not be less than 168 cms.
•  b) Chest:   Must not be less than 87 cms round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.

ii) For the post ASSISTANT MATRON

• a) Height:   Must not be less than 153 cms
•  b) Weight:   Must not be less than 45.5 kgs

Age Limit (as on 01-07-2011) ::   

• For DEPUTY JAILOR ::  Must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years
• For ASSISTANT MATRON :: Must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years

Starting & Last Dates for receipt of Application forms :: 01-02-2012 to 15-03-2012

Application Fee ::

• For GEN/OBC :: A prescribed fee of Rs. 50/- (Rupees fifty only) in cash should be remitted at the time of submission of each application form. Demand Drafts, Cheques, Indian Postal Order etc. will not be accepted.
• For SC/ST ::  candidates are exempted from fee remittance.

How to Apply :: All the Eligible candidates should submit the duly filled in application form along with the copies of the necessary certificates at any of the places mentioned below on any working day from 01-02-2012 to 15-03-2012 in between 10.00 hours and 13.00 hours. The candidates should appear and submit the application in person and should not send their applications either by post or through their nominee.
