Corporation Bank was established in 1906 in Udupi near Mangalore in Karnataka. It is one of the best public sector banks in India. The main aim of this bank is to provide financial services & banking facilities to the local people. In the year 1976-77, this bank was awarded by National Award for Assistance to Exporters from the President of India followed by many other awards.

Every year, Corporation bank holds the Probationary Officer PO recruitment. A large no. of candidates apply for this & to clear the entrance exam, one must know the pattern & eligibility of the test.

Corporation bank PO Exam Eligibility criteria : In order to apply for the post of Probationary Officer, the candidate must be between the age group of 18 – 28 years. For the reserved category , the age relaxation is according to the government rule. In the fields of education, the candidate must be at least graduate in any discipline with minimum aggregate marks as 40% & he / she must have done the degree from a recognized university.

Corporation bank PO Exam Pattern : The selection of candidates fro the post of PO is through written test & interview. Written test has got 200 questions which has to be solved in 3 hrs. The questions are based on –

  1. Reasoning & Numerical Ability – There will  be 100 questions on this.
  2. Clerical Aptitude – contains 40 questions
  3. English Language contains 40 questions again
  4. General Knowledge has 20 questions.
    For each wrong answer, marks will be deducted.
