HORTICET 2011 Notification,Application Forms

Andhra Pradesh Horticultural University, invites applications from Diploma holders in Horticulture for admission into four years B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture Degree Programme for the academic year 2011 -12.

HORTICET 2011 Eligibility:

A pass in  Horticulture  Diploma Course from  APHU/ANGRAU. (Those who will be completing in 2010-11 academic year can also apply.  But submission of Final Memorandum of Marks-cum-Pass Certificate of Diploma in Horticulture in must at the time of Admission counselling).

HORTICET 2011 Age Limit :

The candidates shall be required to have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission with an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates but relaxed to  25 years in respect of S.C & S.T candidates and 27 years in respect of Physically Challenged (disabled) candidates.

Reservation: As per existing rules.

Syllabus: Syllabus covered in Horticulture Diploma

Admissions will be made strictly as per the rule of reservations  and  based on merit through the Entrance test which will be in Telugu (objective type) to be conducted at College of  Horticulture, Andhra Pradesh Horticultural University,  Venkataramannagudem, West Godavari District – 534 101 on 08-08-2011 Monday from 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM.

Interested candidates may apply for admission on prescribed form as enclosed / attached along with a  Demand Draft of  Rs.300/- (Rupees Three hundred only)  for General Candidates and    Rs.150/- (Rupees one hundred and fifty only)  in case of SC & ST candidates drawn in favour of Comptroller, Andhra Pradesh Horticultural University, payable at Tadepalligudem on any Nationalized Bank.

Duly completed Application form along with 2 self addressed and stamped envelop (Rs.5/- each) should reach on or before 16-07-2011, either in person or by post to the Convener, HORTICET- 2011, Andhra Pradesh Horticultural University, Admn. Office: Post Box No.7, Venkataramannagudem-534 101, West Godavari District.

Applications received after the last date will not  be entertained at any cost and Andhra Pradesh Horticultural University will not be responsible for any postal / any delay.
