DA,HRA etc. will be paid as per rules in force from time to time depending upon the place of posting. Medical, LFC, Terminal Benefits etc. will be as per prevailing rules.

a) Nationality / Citizenship:
A candidate must be either (i) a Citizen of India or (ii) a subject of Nepal or (iii) a subject of Bhutan or (iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st Jan. 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan,Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Govt. of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination/interview but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India.

AGE LIMIT (As on 01.07.2010 ): Minimum 18 Years, Maximum 28 Years

Minimum Qualification: Pass with 60% marks in 10+2 examination or its equivalent OR a degree in any discipline.
For SC/ST/ Ex-Servicemen/PC Category candidates: Pass with 50% marks in 10+2 examination or its equivalent OR a degree in any discipline.
1. Educational Qualifications should be from a recognized University / Board.
2. Apart from the prescribed Educational Qualifications, Working Knowledge in MS office will be essential.
3. Candidate should be knowing how to read, write and speak the language of the State / UT for which he/she applies.

Selection will be made on the basis of performance in Written Test and Interview taken together.
Merely satisfying the eligibility norm does not entitle a candidate to be called for Written Test or Interview.

(a) The written test will be objective (Sl No 1 to 4) and descriptive type. The questions in objective tests except for the Test of English will be printed in bilingual, i.e. English and Hindi.The Questions in Descriptive Paper will be printed in bilingual i.e. English and Hindi version.The candidates will have the option to answer the Descriptive paper
either in English or Hindi or Official Language of the State/UT for which they have applied. There will be negative marks for the wrong answers in the Objective Tests.
The candidates will be required to qualify in each objective test and also in the Descriptive Paper separately.
(b) The detailed information regarding the Written Test will be given in the booklet which will be sent to the eligible candidates along with the Call Letter for the Test.
(c) Depending upon the number of vacancies, only those candidates who rank sufficiently high in the merit list will be called for Interview. Mere eligibility/pass in the Test shall not vest any right in a candidate for being called for Interview. Final selection shall be made based on the ranking on the aggregate marks obtained in the Written Tests and Interview. Decision of the Bank in this regard shall be final.
