VIJAYA BANK PROBATIONARY OFFICERS (PO)

Vijaya Bank was founded in the year 1931 by late Shri A.B. Shetty & other farmers in Mangalore. The aim behind its foundation was to promote the banking facilities among the farmer community & to give them the benefits. This bank was nationalized in the year 1980.

Every year there is recruitment of Probationary Officer in this bank. Those who want to give this exam, need to have all the information related to PO exam.

Vijaya Bank PO eligibility Criteria :

• Age: Those who wish to appear in this should be between 18- 28 years of age. The relaxation of age is according to the government rules.
• Education : The candidate must have the Bachelors degree or its equivalent or should have 50% aggregate marks at least in 10+2 or 10+2+3 pattern or its equivalent.

Vijaya Bank PO Exam Pattern : There will be a written test & an interview.

• Written Test : It is of 2 types – Objective & Descriptive. The objective test is of 260 marks & descriptive is of 100 marks. Objective test is of 95 minutes containing 200 questions. The questions are on reasoning ability, numerical aptitude, clerical aptitude & English language. Descriptive test is of 60 minutes.
• Interview : It is of 75 marks. Those who clears the written test are called for the interview.
  Based on this both, candidates are selected for the post of PO in Vijaya bank.
